On the 13th of May, the University of Malta (UM) team working on LOCARD was hosted by the Malta chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) during a session of their educational event series (https://engage.isaca.org/maltachapter/home). The talk entitled "Investigating cybercrime involving stealthy attacks on smartphones" previewed MobFor, UM's contribution to the investigator's toolkit. The talk explained how MobFor is intended to complement existing tools to provide investigators with richer forensics timelines, enabling for comprehensive incident scenario reconstruction even in those cases where stealthy techniques are employed that severely reduce an attack's forensic footprint.
