On the 29th of October, Cyber Security Malta and Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) organised cyber ROOT 21, an online webinar that seeks to instil more knowledge of cyber security, its importance and relevance in the business industry and as a fora for a discussion of current cyber security elements and trends.

Jennifer Bellizzi and Christian Colombo presented ongoing research at the University of Malta (UM), highlighting the H2020-funded LOCARD project. Following an overview of the prevalent phishing attacks in the Maltese context, the talk continued with a look at UM's memory forensics tool, MOBFOR, with its primary objective of reconstructing forensic time-lines, plotting threat-related events as derived from ephemeral digital evidence collected from volatile memory.
