This Work Package aims to define the specific functional and non-functional requirements of the LOCARD modules, in order to design and develop the specific modules in Work Package 5 and push the identified open issues for research in Work Package 4.

These requirements will be based on the study of characteristic use case scenarios that will describe the two independent use case scenarios for LEAs and security consulting companies. To this end, the main objectives of this Work Package are:
- Define use case scenarios.
- Decompose the use cases to specific functional and non-functional requirements, taking into consideration each LEA unit (e.g. investigators, analysts etc.)
- Design a reference platform architecture that will be used in the design, development and testing & validation phase of the project.
